Join us for an evening focusing on lymphatic flow for immune health and nervous system regulation with Jane Graybill.
FRIDAY, NOV. 18th 6:30-8:30 at DANO.
Our lymphatic system filters out what does not belong in our body. Through a series of vessels and nodes the lymphatic fluid moves back toward the heart collecting cellular waste, hormones and toxins from our external environment along the way. It is the circulatory system for our immune cells and when it is not working properly it will impact our physical health as well as our mental health.
Through gentle movement and massage we can impact our lymphatic system and help increase the healthy flow of fluids in the body. This class will provide a basic lesson of the body’s anatomy to gain a better understanding of how our bodies work. We will talk about ways to support your lymphatic system through movement, breath and massage which will increase your immune health and support your nervous system flexibility. Together we will do a gentle, full body movement routine to activate the lymphatic system. We will also learn a lymphatic facial massage that will decrease puffiness in the face and neck and help increase circulation and waste removal for the brain while calming the nervous system through vagus nerve stimulation.
We can impact our lymphatic system and our nervous system by understanding how they work and gently supporting them through touch on a daily basis. This work is intended to be done regularly for the best results. If you suffer from inflammation in your body, autoimmune disorders, burnout or fatigue this work is for you. If you are a human in our world, this work is for you.
We cannot remove the stressors in our lives but we can change the way we interact with those stressors. This workshop will provide you with some tools to use on a daily basis to increase blood and lymph flow in the body, support nervous system strength and flexibility and energize your immune system. Empower yourself and learn to listen to the messages your body is sending you.
Jane Graybill has been a massage therapist since 2001. The past few years she has spent moving her own lymph and regulating her own nervous system to support her body through an autoimmune diagnosis. She works with people online and in person to help teach them to care for their bodies through lymphatic self massage, movement and nervous system regulation.
